Description:
This position is located in the Food and Beverage Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Southwest Region. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the catering function providing timely preparation, service and breakdown of events as contractual arrangements state.Requirements:
Have knowledge and skill in setting up and organizing catered functions that will satisfy the customer and stimulate return business.
Knowledge of military club operations, regulations and techniques pertaining to private parties.
Skill to communicate effectively and the tact to deal capably and diplomatically with superiors, peers, subordinates and customers.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures. Attend MWR Cash Handling Training with in the first 30 days of employment.
Ability to operate office machines such as copy machines, PC Computer, and calculators.
Knowledge of military protocol, proper etiquette, social graces and customs.
