You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Logistics Department of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Logistics Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing changes to improve configuration and logistics policy and procedures, identifying requirements to enhance operational readiness, provides ship life cycle support in identifying material related to life-cycle support deficiency issues, along with evaluating, documenting and reporting the various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) effectiveness and conditions of Fleet units. Specialized experience includes the following: 1) Providing and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support aspects related to equipment alternations during maintenance availability for ships; 2) Developing changes to improve various configuration and logistics policy and procedures; 3) Applying knowledge of ILS specific programs such as R-Supply, Ships Configuration and Logistic Information System (SCLSIS) and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and; 4) Developing Fleet Program Support Management projects for weapons preparation activities and identifying requirements to enhance operational readiness.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
