Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Business Administration, Advertising or Marketing and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to research companies for commercial sponsorship, identify key personnel to contact, and negotiate terms of a contract.
Overall experience must include a demonstrated track record of sales experience that illustrates success in meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor. Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements and return on investment of companies. Must have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral to solicit commercial sponsorship/advertising sales and business development strategies, negotiate contracts and to write after action reports. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledgeable of social media platforms and must demonstrate knowledge and application of marketing strategy, planning, budgeting, advertising, and promotions. Ability to juggle multiple projects and work assignments with grace under pressure. Ability to positively interact with various internal and external clients, vendors, and departments. Occasional weekend and evening hours are required.
