Description:
You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the RADIAC CALIBRATION SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-8 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying electronics technical engineering principles and theories to troubleshoot (utilizing schematics and test equipment) electronic equipment, analyze technical data and modify or repair electronic equipment.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
