Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICER in the COMMANDER, NAVY REGION SOUTHWEST of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manage oversight of day to day responsibilities, budgeting, and manning requirements for public affairs team; 2) Provide policy development, implementation, and execution in support of public affairs communication strategies, missions, goals, and objectives of stakeholders; 3) Anticipate issues to provide communication counsel and public affairs leadership; 4) Build and maintain close working relationships with key influencers of various trade and professional associations; and 5) Exercise leadership in editing and releasing of informational materials such as press releases, videos, photographs, stories, interviews, speeches , key leader talking points, etc.
