You will serve as a Aircraft Machinist Work Leader in the Aviation Maint/Material Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Requirements:

1) Inspecting, analyzing, assessing and determining the condition of all sheet metal/machinist related issues to aircraft production, including, but not limited to corrosion, hole quality, precision measuring, drilling, engineering requests, reporting and more. 2) Identifying and documenting all non-conforming discrepancies and making informed technical decisions, from current engineering specifications and technical instructions, that limit work and processing to only what the incumbent authorizes. 3) Instructing Machinists apprentices, worker/helpers and journey level artisans in all aspects of machining operations and processes. 4) Providing technical instruction and demonstrations for Artisan Inspectors, Aeronautical Engineers and Quality Assurance Specialists in the proper use of tools, machinery, technical references, safety, repair procedures and test equipment associated with special process certifications
