The Pretrial Services office in SDCA is accepting applications for the position of U.S. Pretrial Services Officer Assistant (PSOA). More than one position may be filled from this announcement. PSOA's are considered law enforcement/ hazardous duty (LEO/ hazardous duty) and are therefore covered by the LEO/hazardous duty retirement system.Requirements:
LEVEL/REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: CL-23 High school graduation or equivalent and two years of general experience.GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the possession of, or the ability to acquire, the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position.
COURT PREFERRED SKILLS: Spanish speaker and prior similar experience preferred.

For placement at salary levels above minimum up to and including step 25, one year or more of specialized experience is required.
