You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the PORT OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Delivering comprehensive training across all aspects of marine harbor boating operations; 2) Developing training aids and classroom activities to support course instruction; 3) Preparing training-related reports, memorandums, proposals, charts and graphs to support instructional planning and delivery; 4) Conducting briefings, classroom instruction, lectures, conferences, and practical exercises.**NOTE** This information must be supported by your resume in order to be considered for the position.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
In order to meet the Navy's Personnel Qualification Standard for Small Boat Operations, recent experience with Navy Deck or Engineering rating with Navy Small Boat coxswain qualifications or a minimum 10 years of equivalent maritime experience directly related to small craft operations and training is necessary.
Experience in instructing Navy Coxswain qualifications is desired.
