You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the TACTICAL SYS INTEGRATION & INTEROP of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.Requirements:
I have one year of experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: The selectee is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a 200+ person Tactical Systems Division. Duties include strategic planning, workforce planning, knowledge management, architecture and infrastructure planning and development of the Division's budgets.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Will also be widely recognized as a Center subject matter expert in their particular area and will lend their expertise to current and proposed projects in order to enhance the products, services, and reputation of the Center.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: The selectee coordinates and provides expert oversight of department operations, program development, continuous process improvement, and the management and execution of production overhead.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide management and support for the development of Data Link Test Tools and Program of record Software Support Activity deliveries, Develops and implements strategies to-foster teamwork, ensures delivery of high-quality products, develop new business opportunities, and maintains relationships with customers; provides assistance, advice and, guidance in solving technical, administrative, and personnel problems.
NM-05
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; Demonstrated skills in managing a project for Tactical Data Link type projects; Knowledge of and skills in managing IT systems processes and budget; Knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance.
NM-04
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; demonstrating skills in managing a project for Tactical Data Link type projects; managing IT systems processes and budget.
